Front Desk Receptionist

At The Seawane Club, our Front Desk Receptionist plays a pivotal role as the first point of contact for our esteemed members and guests. We are seeking a qualified individual who is not only a team player but also experienced and hands-on. Join us in providing exceptional customer service and creating memorable experiences for everyone who walks through our doors.

Responsibilities:

  • Welcome members and guests to the Club with warmth and professionalism.
  • Assist in making dining or event reservations to enhance their experience.
  • Manage busy phone lines, handling inquiries, reservations, and messages promptly.
  • Maintain updated reservation lists for Club Events.
  • Update the Club’s website and app as needed.
  • Assist in tracking daily To-Go orders.
  • Act as an extension of the Member Relations, Membership, and Private Event departments in obtaining prospective Member & Guest referrals.

Requirements:

  • Outgoing, friendly, and professional attitude.
  • Prior experience as a receptionist is preferred; previous club experience is a plus.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a knack for problem-solving.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and general phone etiquette.
  • Knowledge of Canva is a plus.
  • High school diploma/equivalent or higher.

Schedule: Full-time. As a seasonal club, hours will vary based on the time of year and business levels.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Salary: $20.00 to $25.00 /hour (based on experience).
  • Comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, vacation, and other benefits per company policies.
  • 80% Company-paid health insurance for employees, plus company-sponsored Health Reimbursement Account (HRA) for deductibles and prescriptions.
  • Dental and Vision Plans.
  • Flexible vacation schedule, plus additional days during the off-season (including sick days).
  • Company-provided employee meals from our restaurant.
  • Access to the golf course during off-hours.
